These two have recently started dating, and we followed them along to celebrate their first Christmas together and on a holiday date with an Exton Restaurant. Here’s what happened…

WHEN DID YOU MEET?
DANIELLE: We met the week before Thanksgiving. He was a pleasant holiday surprise 
JOHN: The Sunday before Thanksgiving — it was the longest and most enjoyable first date I’ve ever had.
HOW WAS YOUR FIRST CHRISTMAS TOGETHER?
DANIELLE: Christmas was awesome! We did the family circuit together — his mom’s, my brother’s, my uncle’s, his cousins. He got to see a little bit about my crazy family and he didn’t run for the hills, LOL! He might be a keeper. We did exchange gifts. They were simple and perfect.
JOHN: Our first Christmas was great! Meeting each other’s families went smoothly. The look on Danielle’s face as I gave her a large Christmas stocking full of goodies and roses was priceless.
WHAT WAS THE PLAN FOR YOUR HOLIDAY DATE?
DANIELLE: Originally we planned to do a romantic dinner out, but one of my dogs got into the cookies on Christmas and we spent a good part of the day nursing a sick pup and at the emergency vet. Then the snow started and we opted for a night in with Cuisine’s To Go and the “date night in” gift that I got John for Christmas. After running around for two days and stressing over a sick puppy, date night in was a perfect alternative on a snowy night
JOHN: I originally wanted to dine at a romantic restaurant, then stroll through Longwood Gardens, but mother nature put a damper on that plan.
HAVE YOU EVER USED CUISINE TO GO?
DANIELLE: I’ve never used Cuisine To Go, but they were awesome! We got a nice variety of different goodies from Riverstone 
Cafe. Everything arrived hot and yummy. It was really cool to be able to get take-out delivery from a full service restaurant versus pizza or Chinese, and the delivery guy was such a trooper to be out on a snowy night.
JOHN: No. It was great to have fine dining brought to your front door — especially during a winter blizzard.
WHAT DID YOU HAVE?
DANIELLE: The goat cheese and fig crostini was my favorite appetizer. I could have had them for a meal. The crab wontons and the New Orleans fried oysters were really good, too. The New Orleans oysters had a really nice kick to them!
We shared an Asian-style salad with a sweet ginger dressing that I couldn’t get enough of. For the main dish, we had pumpkin ravioli and it was SO GOOD! Topped with cranberries, a little bit of turkey, it was a 
perfect holiday selection. John loves dessert! So the peanut butter pie at the end was AWESOME!!!
JOHN: The pumpkin ravioli was delicious. It had just the right amount of pumpkin flavor fused with the mild cheese filling. The goat cheese crostini was awesome — Danielle’s favorite adjective. The Asian chicken and mandarin salad with soy/ginger dipping sauce excited the taste buds. The chocolate ganache on the peanut butter pie was fantastic — and dessert is my favorite meal of the day.
DID YOU ALSO HAVE WINE?
DANIELLE: John had some of my favorite holiday beer chilled and ready to go for us — Mad Elf Ale, from Troeg’s Brewery.
JOHN: No, but we had a very tasty Christmas craft beer — Mad Elf Ale.
DO YOU THINK YOU WILL SPEND FUTURE HOLIDAYS TOGETHER?
DANIELLE: Well, New Year’s Eve and Day are on the calendar in ink, but I certainly hope there will be more
JOHN: Yes — skiing and a B&B over President’s Weekend.
WAS THERE A KISS?
DANIELE: There was definitely a kiss.
JOHN: Yes…several.
IS IT A LONG-TERM MATCH?
DANIELLE: Quite possibly.
JOHN: It’s heading in that direction
HOW DID YOU END THE DATE?
DANIELLE: A snowy walk with the dogs. It was kind of sickeningly romantic.
JOHN: A DVD, then ’sweet nothings’ by the Christmas tree during a blustery snowstorm.
